John Paul Jones- In 1778 John Paul Jones is captain of the American man of war, Ranger.
In Carrickfergus Bay he captures the Drake a British man of war, and a brigantine, Patience.
They go to Eilean Mor MacCormick to repair the boats. He later becomes the founder of
the American navy.
